The World In Changes: What We Can Do About It

Everything today is intensely magnified through the lens of electronic and social media. We saw the terror and change of the late 60’s through TV. Now multiply that about 100x via today’s communication tools. Panic by media .

The ashes of the late 60’s ( racial tension, Viet Nam, cultural upheaval, the birth of modern terrorism, mass protests, Manson Family, Hong Kong flu--among many other things if you weren’t here then) brought revolutions in film, music, science,  and mainstream thinking.

Maybe we can be part of the new solutions in areas we have talent and/or passion.

It’s 2020, and there IS a new Mainstream that’s wide, diverse, conflicted, colorful and powerful…and being in sync with it is the soul of the next generation of change.  Hell,  being in sync has always meant the difference in creating progress out of strife.

The traditionalists live in tradition and in media particularly, many are skewed toward some extreme alteration of  the REAL pulse. It’s a time to TRY to present more enlightened media that’s in harmony with the state-of-life that helps design the future.

The digitally armed Civil War is in motion.  It’s cold with flashes of hot,  but its real.  It’s happening NOW…in real time. Again,  turbulence  isn’t always a bad thing in the long run. It’s a cultural re-set. In some ways I liken it to AM radio in the 68-72 era.  It was alive but the future belonged to FM Radio…in sync with the street, technology  and buying into the changes.

Fast forwarding, the time has never been more right for that same sort of thinking.  That same sort of passion for change. Taking the opportunity to  generate meaningful evolution at a time when it’s needed.  Any of us can contribute on small and maybe big levels.  I think we have to try. The timing is now.
